TaylorMade-adidas Golf (TMaG) Tour Staff professional Dustin Johnson won the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am by four shots, his second career-changing victory on the PGA Tour in less than six months. Johnson, 24, used TaylorMade's Burner 09 driver and Tour Preferred irons to dominate from tee to green, ranking No. 1 in driving distance and No. 2 in greens in regulation.
Johnson also won the Turning Stone Resort Championship last October to move from 128th to 41st on the PGA Tour money list and secure his playing privileges for 2009 and 2010. His win at the AT&T elevated him to No. 2 on the money list and up to No. 45 in the World Golf Rankings, which qualifies him for next week's Accenture World Golf Championships – Accenture Match Play Championship as well as for this year's Masters Tournament and U.S. Open. He also moved up to ninth place on the Presidents Cup points list.
TaylorMade was the No. 1 driver brand at the AT&T with 76 in play (32 more than the next competitor) and the No. 1 fairway wood brand with 131 in play (72 more than the next competitor).
