After a great week in Augusta for the Season Opener, the TaylorMade Tour van is in South Carolina for the popular Verizon Heritage on Hilton Head Island. Another good field this week includes Sean O'Hair, Justin Rose, Rod Pampling, Jay Williamson, Dean Wilson, Fred Funk, Jason Day and 2005 past champion Peter Lonard.

We worked with Peter this week, building three new Z TP wedges with a special toe-and-heel relief grind and 8-9 degrees of added bounce. Growing up playing in Australia, Peter has been used to playing on hard-pan surfaces and with the softer surfaces here, he was looking to try more bounce to keep the club from grabbing the turf as much.

The Tour Burner driver continues to dominate. Feedback has been phenomenal and each week we are seeing more and more players add it into the bag. This week it is once again the most-played driver model with 14 in play. We built Rod Pampling, who first received a Tour Burner back in Houston, a new Tour Burner this week with a softer shaft and a 1/2 degree more loft. Rod doesn't tend to make too many changes to his equipment and has been very pleased with the Tour Burner's stable head and ability to shape the ball how he wants. The new Tour Burner irons are also gaining a lot of attention. We built Dean Wilson and Shane Bertsch each a set a few weeks ago and they haven't left their bags since.

On the putter front, we have 11 Rossa Monza Spiders in play. Jason Day, Fred Funk and Dustin Johnson have all switched into the high-MOI putter this week, while Michael Allen, Brian Bateman, Matthew Goggin, Sean O'Hair and Peter Lonard continue to use it and have positive feedback.

The TaylorMade TP golf balls took No.3 in the count this week with 10 in play: Jason Day, Sean O'Hair, Y.E. Yang, Dustin Johnson, Justin Rose, Richard Sterne, J.L. Lewis, Fred Funk and James Driscoll are all playing the TP Red and Jay Williamson is playing the TP Black.
