Sean O'Hair Wins PODS Championship and Earns Masters Invite

TaylorMade-adidas Golf Tour Staff Professional Sean O'Hair overcame brutal winds at Innisbruck to claim victory at the PODS Championship. Trailing by four as he entered the final round, O'Hair closed with a 2-under 69 to win by two. The only player to shoot par or better all four rounds, he saved his best golf for Sunday. With his Rossa Monza Spider putter in hand, he buried a 32-footer on the 15th hole to take a two-stroke lead that he would not relinquish.
Despite the whipping winds that blew throughout most of the event, O'Hair ranked in the top 20 in all key categories, including 8th in driving distance, T15th in driving accuracy, T18th in greens in regulation and T15th in putts per round.
O'Hair's PODS victory automatically earned him an invitation to the Masters Tournament next month, and moved him into the top 40 ranked golfers in the world, qualifying him for the World Golf Championship-CA Championship at Doral in two weeks. It was O'Hair's second PGA Tour title; he also won the John Deere Classic as a 22-year-old in 2005, which helped propel him to PGA Tour's Rookie of the Year honor.
